Juhis (Juha-Matti Eskelinen)

Learning and moving since 1991. When I was a kid I practiced a bit of everything; ballroom dancing, judo, football, snowboarding and biking. Then at the age of 13 I discovered parkour with my brother and got interested in developing myself further. I wanted to try how far I could get and what kinds of things I could learn. Things like I had only seen in the action movies before. At 2012 I got in Salpaus circus school in Lahti and there a whole new world of performing arts opened for me. After 3 years of training on Chinese pole and with other circus disciplines I found my way of learning how to use my body and my mind better, how to combine things I have learned so far and how to put those on stage.
